Day 4/5 : Bali

Day 4
So, the day was started by going to our hotel & leaving luggages there since we cannot check in yet. Ayah called for a car rent service. Basically, the driver will bring you everywhere you want depending on how long you rent the car. As for us, we rented an Avanza for about 9 hours from morning till dawn. The first location that the driver brought us was the batik shop. The batik in Bali was slightly different from Malaysia's batik, but nothing special about it.

The second place we went was the silver shop. We were just looking anyway. There were tones of silver, accessories & gift shops along the road. Buddha statues were all over the place.

Handcrafted-wood shop. It was interesting to see live wood carving though it was creepy once we got into the shop. Creepy masks, and uh erotic stuffs. I was suffocating inside, haha.

You'll get what i mean if you noticed something in this picture below, lol.

Gunung Batur, Kintamani
This volcano is still alive, yup. We went down here first & even went around the volcano, but not that close though.

Had lunch at a massive buffet restaurant which was quite expensive because this restaurant offered you the majestic view of Gunung Batur.

Tadaaaa!

Ubud
Hill paddies, well not that huge but this was the best one i guess.

Tanah Lot
This place was obviously the most popular one, especially for sunset viewing. We went back to town just when the sunset started to show.

Even local kids were taught how to be persistent sellers. /sighs

Last but not least, souvenir shopping! There were plenty of souvenir hypermarkets around Bali. They sell things from snacks to bags.

Everyday Smart Hotel
Checked in as soon as the tour ended. The hotel was new & modern & affordable for a night stay. Even got orange juices after checked in. Cleaned ourselves & walked to the beach. It was kind of dark & far from the hotel. The strap of my new flat heels i was broken. The worse decision ever to even wear them. Had to buy a new pair of slipper & had a dinner.

Then,we visited the beach while it was pitch dark. It was raining so we brought the rain suits we had from Bromo. Can see 5 stars hotels, Hard Rock Hotel, shopping complex etc. Pergh, the whole walking thing was really tiring. Got many taxis but we didn't even ride one. Massage parlour is a must visit, since the massage price was damn cheap.

Day 5
Everyone woke up pretty damn late but we managed to do some last minute shopping. Didn't get to see the beach. Here, they even sell wooden dicks & vulgar shirts. Very...disturbing...

This place was like a Miami Walk, because it gave that Miami kinda vibe. Retail therapy, esp for surfers out there.

Dying to buy these Nevada jackets T_T

Lunch @ Raja Bebek
Bebek = duck. Delicious. Es jeruk tasted like shit here. Visited a music shop while waiting for the food. Thought of buying an ukulele, but nahh. Ukulele's price was cheaper here & exactly when i get hooked up to Yamaha Guitalele. Btw, one of the famous local delicacies here is Babi Guling.

Kuta Airport
Took 2 taxis back to hotel & straight to the airport. The new airport was under construction. It has been short here in Bali, but it was worth it. Thus, remarks the end of our journey.

Sky shots are a must. Halo ring around the sun was splendidly beautiful.
